Cultivate and attain enlightenment in this lifetime

There is an ancient saying: our human body is scarcely available and Buddha dharma is difficult to chance upon. Now that we have the opportunity to listen to Buddha dharma as a human, we should treasure this rare opportunity and cultivate diligently.

My advice to my disciples is to cultivate diligently and clear your karmic debts so that you can attain liberation and enlightenment in this life. At the same time, you will be able to experience the fundamental state of meditation as described in the Heart Sutra. It is only then that you will truly realize the Law of Nature and its inter-connectivity with body and mind.

今世修行，一世修成

「人身難得，佛法難遇。」佛法難遇今已遇，人身難得今已得。今世既得遇，就要珍惜，好好修行。所以我告訴弟子，我們不說「修來世吧」，而是爭取今世修行，一世修成。今世能夠真正離苦、消業、再開悟，並得以在禪的境界裡，達到《心經》所講緣的根本禪境。這樣才能真正認識到，自然規律和身心規律。
